“If I ever came back to visit, would you want to see me?” Minho asked quietly.
Jisung stilled. He imagined if he ever did see Minho again, it might turn out exactly as it had this time. Things would be great, Minho would be great, but Jisung would still be stuck in the same place, unsure if he was ready for what he knew Minho could offer him.
“I don’t know,” he answered, almost in a whisper.
Minho nodded.
“But it’s not because I don’t want to see you, I just–” Jisung started. Minho waited patiently for him to continue. “I don’t think I would be able to let you go again,” he finished with a halfhearted shrug.
Jisung finds his old journal from the two years he spent in New York City and takes a trip down memory lane, revisiting his past and those who made it special.

A presence to his right and Jisung’s pulse skipped in the worst possible way.
“Well,” Minho drawled, leaning casually against the wall beside him “that’s a pretty uncomfortable position.”
“No shit” Jisung hissed, still struggling.
“Fuck off” the other vampire snarled over his shoulder. “Find your own dinner.”
Minho laughed. A soft, airy giggle that absolutely did not belong in an alley where someone was about to die.
Jisung honestly wondered if he was hallucinating.
Pinned to a wall by a vampire he nearly killed, and another immortal one appears like this is some sick comedy show.
“Did you miss me, Jisung?” Minho asked, tilting his head with a small pout.

Jeongin nods and turns to tap the crouching man in the yellow rainjacket on the shoulder. They are so near the edge of the cliff that Minho fears even the lightest tap will make him fall to his death.
He’s even more relieved that he’s not the one near the edge of the cliffs when Jisung turns around and almost gives him and Changbin a heart attack.The lower half of the man’s face is almost completely covered in a dark reddish brown smeared out substance, and his fingers are stained with the same color. His hair is flying in every direction and the contrast of the bright yellow and gritty bloody red makes him look like an uncanny monster right out of a horror film.
Changbin curses out loud and Minho inhales sharply in surprise. “Jesus fuck. What happened to you?”OR: When a series of strange events occur in a small coastal town, Detective Lee Minho must determine the commonality between a string of mysterious murders, fresh graves dug in the woods, and Han Jisung.

Summary
The movie goes on, images flickering by on the giant television screen, but Minho finds it hard to pay attention when Jisung stretches and puts his arm on the backrest behind Minho, barely touching him, but in a purposeful way. Like he’s trying to gauge Minho’s reaction, give him space either to pull away or move closer.
Minho knows what he’s doing, and he hates how much he’s enjoying it, this cliché first-date move. He tips his head back, leaning into Jisung’s touch. It takes all of his might not to do more. The alarms sounding in his head are louder than the screams of the protagonist being murdered in the movie. Don’t do it, they blare. Don’t move.
And Minho knows, but he still wants.
(Minho has made peace with the fact that he might be stuck in a loveless arranged marriage for the rest of his life. Somewhere along the line, he meets Jisung, and everything changes. He begins wanting more.)

Do you know anyone who pet sits and would be able to come meet them in the next ten or twenty minutes? I know it’s a crazy question, but I just…I don’t know what to do.”
“Hey,” Chan rounded the counter, dropping a supportive hand onto Minho’s shoulders. “It’ll be okay. We’ll figure something out. Just take a deep breath.”
“I can do it.”
