I bet she sees it like I’m accepting her fucking charity, like a subtle dig at me and a joke just for her all rolled into one.”

“Oh,” some realisation falls on Simon’s face then, the amusement from before replaced by something more serious. “I mean, yeah of course.”
The reply is kind of less enthusiastic than Wille expected.
“Are you sure?” He can’t help but ask.
“Yeah, I’d love to,” Simon tries again as he nods “it’s just… kind of big, right?” He questions hesitantly.
“Yeah but,” Wille struggles with his answer a bit “this is what we wanted, right? When we went public.”Wilhelm and Simon find out that what would be normal for other couples does not come so easy to them as they struggle with the publicity of their relationship.
Or, Wille and Simon go on their first public date out as a couple. Not everything goes according to plan.
