A magical mishap throws Kai into a strange new realm called "New York", and now he's stuck in the body of some sort of teenaged mutant ninja turtle. Most of his orn was to be filled with mindless patrols and scouting. Which wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't tasked to do it alone.
Things are different now. Things have been different for a while. Cybertron was dead, he rarely had time for his trine, mechs around him just kept falling. Everything was shattered, there was no use trying to pick up the pieces. Yet here he was regardless.
Each finding was noted with methodical precision, no shadow left unchecked. An inner mechanism released, letting the grayed hood lift with ease. He let out a slow vent, anxieties lessening and battle protocols starting to dwindle. The steady crinkling of plastic seemed deafening in the warehouse.

When the news spreads that Prince Starscream is searching for a conjunx endura, the high society of Vos is abuzz with excitement. Still, no one expects the unlikely noble from the mountains to come and sweep up all of the Prince's attention. As far as everyone is concerned, the prince's decision is obvious, and the blue plated stranger will be announced as a prince by the end of the season.
What they do not know of is their ruse, the secrets they share in the forbidden garden, and the dark stranger that they spend their days with.

After the invasion, Mikey has had constant trouble with his arms after opening the portal to save his older brother. Leo, the insomniac he is, seems to have a sixth sense for when his brothers are in need of help, and after Mikey falls from his hammock due to the shaking of his arms, he might be able to pry some vulnerability from his brother in blue, even if a little.
