Susie ran through the pouring rain, legs screaming as she ignored the burning pain across her back, pretending she couldn't feel the red liquid that was leaving a trail behind her, she didn't have the time to worry about that as she broke into the school like so many nights before.
Hurrying into the closet and barricading it with the discarded file cabinet as she hurriedly but gently put everything she could into the rooms furthest corner, hiding it behind the TV her tried body couldn't make move as the door inside rattled dangerously.
The dragon could only hope it'd be enough as she looked to a white ribbon next to her feet before focusing on protecting her friends.
Pretending to not know how her body shook, how she could feel warm water dripping from her face, how she was covering the TV with her body best she could, holding onto him for dear life.

Why did I write this? because I'm stubborn and wanted to prove too myself I could write one that wasn't heavily mischaracterized
(it might still be but hey I'm just having fun here)After a peaceful (yet still questionable lunch) with her father's Ava decides to talk the long way back the Chaotic apartment, the walk proving worthwhile when she finds what looks like a human with wolf features injured and fading from life. What will she do upon realizing she'd just saved a man from another world, again

Ava finds Ein beat up and almost dead after a lunch with her dads and decides to help his sorry ass, angst and chaos ensues

Summary
After narrowly escaping death, Tenna finds himself tossed out into the cold and unforgiving rain back in the Light World. Susie rescues him by bringing him to their Castle Town, but unfortunately, it’s a little too late as he begins to fall ill. Both the Lightners and Darkners work together to care for him as he struggles to reconcile with feelings and recover lost memories.

‘My name is Intern, and I’m decently fond of my job.’ He threaded the needle inside the flesh, angling it before pushing it back out. ‘The workload isn’t too bad, despite the fact that I’m overworked to hell.’ Pressing the tip back inside the skin, he pinched it between his fingers as he maneuvered the needle out. ‘My coworkers… are a joy to be around. Despite my obsessive coffee drinking– I get along with everyone, and everyone seems to like me.’ In and out the needle went once more. ‘The entities aren’t much of a problem, either.’ He blinked, his eyes minimally shifting as he watched his skilled hands thread the needle seamlessly. ‘I don’t really mind them. Most of them, at least. Hiders can be pretty annoying. And…’
