Summary
After being seen stopping the infection, Hornet is viewed as a hero of Hallownest. The people of the kingdom rally behind her, to the Pale King's displeasure.
After awakening the Grand Mother Silk by silencing the song, Phantom and Lace stand in positions of power. Silk searches still for her Weavers to regain her lost strength.
Inter-kingdom negotiations over valuable resources between the lands reach a tipping point when an agreement is reached:
The lands between them will be ruled by a union of the kingdoms, via a marriage of their heirs.The children of the gods, strong of will and mind, say "I don't fucking think so"

Summary
Lace makes it abundantly clear that she did not want to be saved from the Void, and she and Hornet go their separate ways. After a time, Hornet has shifted her focus to helping bugs rebuild Pharloom into a safe home free of the haunting. However, Lace has returned, and she wants revenge for the existence that Hornet condemned her to. Hornet would be done with her swiftly, but something…a memory, a feeling, a dream…is holding her back.
OR, an enemies-to-lovers continuation fic where Lace becomes feral and develops an obsession with killing Hornet, but Hornet has several complicated qualms about killing her back. Spiders, lesbians, spider lesbians, and much more!
M rating for sexual themes/innuendo, but there will be nothing explicit—mostly just exploration on Lace/Hornet’s relationship.
