–it wasn’t a kiss, not really. More like a quick press of misaligned lips, already over before either boy could process what had just happened. During the beat of silence that passes between them, Yosuke’s brain finally starts working again just in time to register Souji’s shocked expression. Souji looks down and starts to speak softly, “Yosuke, wha–”
Before he can finish that sentence, Yosuke bolts, slamming into the door and ripping it open.

“Well then!” He declared, “It sounds like I’m your roomie for the time being, so we need to head to my house and get some shit. And you’re eating something while we are out. You don’t have a choice in the matter,” Yosuke smiled cheerfully.

“It’s not just for your sake. My grades go way up whenever I spend a lot of time with you.” He ended the statement with a teasing wink, and Yu felt his pulse race.

Summary
Normally, Yosuke was frustrated at the faultiness of the filter between his brain and mouth, but for once he wished he could get rid of it. “Are you going to be…okay?” Yosuke asked hesitantly.
Yu didn’t respond at first, but eventually gave a bone-weary exhale. “I’ll be fine, Yosuke.” He went to unlock the door, but Yosuke grabbed his wrist before he could step away.
“Don’t give me that shit, Partner. You’ve seen the worst of me. Don’t try to hide.”

Yosuke takes care of Yu during November and December because Yu certainly isn't going to do it himself.

Summary
Yu Narukami was in desperate need of a roommate to fulfill his ideal college life.
He might've been the luckiest man alive to find Yosuke, his best friend, present at a college-specific roommate search event. He knows the guy quite well, having known him for a few years and growing very comfortable in the process. He could picture it now: waking up in the same room every day, eating every meal together, maybe even joining the same clubs. Yu wouldn't have it any other way.

Summary
His thoughts began to run wild. Of course, it was his rotten luck to get stuck with a stupid new ailment that they knew nothing about. It was bad enough that he couldn’t keep his mouth shut on a normal day, and now this dumb fairy tale curse was going to come along and spill all his secrets to anyone who happened to be nearby.
“We’re not going to let that happen, Yosuke,” Yu said, placing his hand gently on Yosuke’s shoulder. “We will figure it out; we always do.”
Yosuke’s eyes widened. Goddamnit, he said all of that out loud? This was the actual worst.
