When Kingsley Shacklebolt informed her that he planned to introduce a Marriage Law with her and Draco Malfoy as the poster-couple, she hadn’t really cared. Hadn’t fought it. Hadn’t even bothered to read the contract the Malfoy family lawyers had sent over. Perhaps she should have, she realized, when she found herself in Lucius Malfoy’s bedchamber the first night of her Honeymoon.

Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy know this about her. In fact, they seem to know quite a few things about her. Her favorite tea. Her tendency to listen at doors. The exact way her feathers ruffle when she’s embarrassed, annoyed, or enjoying herself far more than she intends to admit.
The chair is already waiting.
The tea is already poured.
And Hermione is beginning to suspect that the Malfoys have been waiting for their little songbird to wander in all along.

Prompt: So I didn’t really have prompts to choose from for this, more like ideas for one prompt, which is fine, because a brilliant friend of mine gave me a prompt from the ideas. It morphed a little bit from her original prompt, but that didn’t surprise me. Here are the ideas I was originally given: Yule rather than Christmas with the smells and colours and music of Christmas, set in England, not Scotland, only Hermione and Lucius appear in the story, though others may be mentioned in passing, sex is not new to them, and Berlin must feature… somehow.
