Any questions?” Kaz asked with his gaze fixed on Wylan. The demo man could feel the fear stir up inside him. It’s Nina who speaks up oblivious to Wylans panic, “who hired us and how can we ensure they aren’t going to trick us?”. With an iron grip on Jesper’s hand Wylan looks at Kaz who’s still looking at him, now with a thin smirk on his face. “The person who hired us was none other than the head of the Merchant Council himself, Jan Van Eck”, just as he had feared.
Jesper finds out Wylans real name and starts to question the motives of the person he thought he could start a relationship with. Now they both have to work toghether to mend the trust between them that has been broken.
