A pause. A long pause. Ilya blinks a couple of times, mouth twitching at the corners. Then,

Shane needs help satisfying his girlfriend, Jessica. He turns to his roommate, Ilya, for help.

In 2008, Shane Hollander’s MHL dreams died when a tumor resection transformed into an L1 spinal cord injury. In 2021, Ilya Rozanov was the newest center of the Ottawa Centaurs, freshly shunned from Boston.
After a chance meeting on home ice, Ilya's agent has the idea of a lifetime. Shane’s injuries didn’t kill his ambition and Ilya’s abrasive past didn’t taint his talent. All they needed was a little reshaping.
Or, Shane and Ilya rebrand as an Olympic-Paralympic couple on the road to gold in Beijing. It’s all just good PR, of course.
