The metal shifts with Time’s stride, quiet, functional, bearing the faint scars of years Twilight cannot yet measure. The leather at the joints is worn where motion has repeated itself beyond counting. Small repairs reinforce stress points with pragmatic precision, not decorative, not ceremonial, built to endure. Built to last.
A cold understanding settles beneath Twilight’s ribs.

Summary
Ahead, almost hidden by the thick undergrowth that seemed to blanket nearly all of this section of the woods, Link caught a glimpse of gold. He came to a halt, fore paw held slightly aloft, ears forward. At the same moment, the pull ceased, leaving a strange emptiness in its place. The scent of blood remained, overpowering now in its intensity. Moments passed before his concern got the better of him and he stepped forward.
He moved silently, soft paws making no sound against the dirt and grass he walked upon, branches and brambles sliding unnoticed along his coarse fur as he advanced. More of what he now recognised as armour came into view, the curves and angles resolving themselves into the shape of a pauldron, and again Link found himself ground to a halt. He knew that pauldron, recognised the form, the structure of the metalwork. He could have described the patterns etched into it from memory. Had he been led to a grave, of all things?(The gang meets, starting with Time and Twilight and told from Twi's perspective :) I'll add more tags as we go?)
