When Hawks said he would take her in Shota decided to put a stop to that. The behavior that has been previously shown between the two blonds was bordering on inappropriate and Naruto clearly needed someone more responsible than a twenty-two year old to watch over her.
A few months after that decision was made his apartment was turned into a green house and he adopted a problem child. It was nice. -
