Three were bacta, administered in rapid succession by a field medic droid whose bedside manner left everything to be desired. And one was a ballistic slug from an old Czerka enforcer pistol, and on a night like this, Din was feeling all of them.

    A/N: Inspired by a Tumblr post about two characters trying to undress each other and being constantly interrupted by finding increasingly absurd amounts of concealed weapons. If any two people in the galaxy were made for this prompt, it's these two.

Din Djarin pulls her off-world on a bounty job that should be simple. Hoth, of course, is never simple. Forced into the close dark of an ice cave, then into the customs of a matriarchal scavenger covert who assume rather a lot about them, Din and Bo learn that the long way home is sometimes the only way home.
