Summary
They would never get a proper burial. Once the probes were en route and Grace ran out of food, the Hail Mary would finally be empty, excluding the three bodies slowly turning to dust within Her dormitory.
Grace had never been religious. He’d never even been spiritual, but leaving the bodies of his crew to disintegrate inside of a dying ship felt disrespectful.
They should be a bigger part of the universe.
