Summary
"We were so worried, we heard you—" Ragatha starts, and then looks up. She meets Jax's gaze dead-on, and goes silent. Tears brim in the corner of her eye. Her hand flies up to cover her mouth. He can't tell if the look on her face is relief or fear.
Gangle's staring at him like she's seen a ghost. Pomni slowly raises to her feet, brows furrowed. She winces as every movement jars her wavering form.
Cowered on the floor, panting, confused and disoriented, with everyone standing above him, taller than him… it reminds Jax of something deeply unpleasant. They're all staring at him. They're all seeing him.
Jax knows they're not going to like what they see.
His breath quickens until his head is spinning, and he feels like he's going to vomit. He forces himself upwards with a frustrated cry, swaying in place, and then turns and bolts towards his room as fast as he can.
"NO!" Pomni screams.
(or: pomni pulls jax back from the brink.)

She had to let go before Zooble ripped her forearms clean off. Zooble swiped through the tablet almost angrily as they muttered, “I don’t even know what you’re so pressed about. It’s not like your derby rider was that pretentious about – ”
Zooble cut themself off and went very, very silent.
Pomni’s mouth went dry. Dryer than it’d been even after a stress of time without real water. She watched, scared for a reason she couldn’t place, as both of Zooble’s detachable eyes widened. She could have sworn that their hot pink face turned almost salmon for a quick second before returning to its original shade. They set down the tablet and turned.
“Ragatha,” they said slowly, “why does the catalogue of NPCs include a mock-up of Jax?”

I read this series all the way through yesterday, and to say I was enthralled is not an understatement. It's absolutely one of my favorite concepts, and it was executed so perfectly. It hurt, but in that good, cathartic way that I'm always on the look-out for.

There he is. And Dean is so torn. His bottom lip wants to wobble around fat tears at the same time he wants to be defensive. Warring between the urges to either run to the other side of the bench to kneel at Cas’s feet- get a good look at that face- or to grab him by the scruff of his neck and demand to know what he thought he was doing by pulling a stunt like this. In his confusion, all that Dean does is stare at the cowlick of Cas’s dark hair.
I’m right here, the memories in him call out. Castiel, I finally caught up to you.
Dean flattens the noise of them under the heel of his boot.

The best series of Dean/Castiel fic I've ever read (and I've been watching SPN since the beginning)! It simultaneously broke me apart and put me back together again better than I was before. I feel like I've been hit by a truck, but it's just my feelings sawing away at my heart. ; 3 ; The characterization of Dean and Castiel is abolutely my most favorite part of the fic, though the prose is so beautiful it makes me ache as well! I don't even regret how late I stayed up to read and finish this series. It was 100% worth it! I can't recommend it more!

I couldn't be more happy with this fic. I'm new to Stranger things and this is the second fic from that fandom that I've read. I loved it. It was perfect!
It touched on everything I was looking for -- Billy's abuse, Steve's trauma, and the connection between them. I really love the way they built each other up. Their connection is so intense and sweet, it had me grinning more and kicking my feet more often than not. I really can't wait to check out this author's other fic, I bet they're just as fantastic.

It's not often that I read fic that doesn't have any shipping in it, but that usually happens when I really really love a character and am desperate for just about any good content with them that I can find. This is exactly what I was looking for -- someone invested in Loki with a desire to help him for mostly selfless reasons. It's fucking phenomenal and I can't recommend it enough. I think I read it for the first time in 2018.

This has such vivid, gorgeous imagery and I won't lie that I'm more than a little in love with the idea of getting "tattoos" based on your life experiences. Tony has more tragic ones than he should and the hurt/comfort for this story hurts so good. I first read this a few years ago -- either in 2018 or early 2019. It's a great story.

I never got as into Overwatch as I tried to in 2015/2016, but I do sometimes go back because reminisce because the characters was solid and I enjoyed them (especially Junkrat). This was a ship I was always intrigued by, but never really got into. It comes as no surprise to me that I got super into this fic considering it features tropes I'm absolutely in love with. It's fucking superb and I had a blast reading it.
