Han Yoojin raises an eyebrow, unimpressed. “Ugh. Why are all you S-Ranks like this? Did the fight knock something loose in your head?”
“Humor me.”
Han Yoojin sighs, tilting his head as if considering. “You’re not a god. You’re human. Mortality means you’re allowed to screw up,” he says eventually. “You make mistakes, you die, and the world keeps going without you.”
“And if the world doesn’t let you die?”
Han Yoojin snorts. “Then you’re just unlucky.”
Unlucky. Sung Hyunjae doesn’t laugh this time.

She stands up in her stirrups, in an attempt to see over the horses. The beast is hard to make out, even under the full strength of the morning sun, and for one brief moment she thinks it's a bear. It's skin seems to absorb light, making the texture hard to decipher, and even it's shape is… in a flash, she realizes that much of her confusion comes from the fact that the creature has wings, which are bundled up and chained flush to it's body.
"It's a dragon." She whispers to herself. "They've brought a live dragon to DunBroch."
