After Molly Weasley reports shocking abuse on the part of Petunia and Vernon Dursley, Albus Dumbledore makes an official decision to Turn A Blind Eye. After all, the Dursleys *are* the key to Harry's Blood Wards. Though McGonagall is appalled, she is ultimately unwilling to take a stand against Albus.
Enraged at this dual neglect, Severus Snape decides to take matters into his own hands. Little does he know that his attempts to modify Harry's Blood Wards will result in *accidentally adopting* The Boy Who Lived. Shocked and horrified, Severus is left with no choice but to move forward as best he can. After all, there's no use crying over spilled potions. . .
This fic is set just after the Weasley siblings rescue Harry from the barred window/canned soup/cat flap situation in Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets. It is broadly inspired by many of my favorite Snape/Harry Adoption Fics, which I have gathered into the collection Snape_Harry_FoundFamily. Thanks, all y'all, for creating such delightful fics.

Summary
After Dumbledore tricked everybody and survived, he declared Harry Potter the new Dark Lord, telling everybody about the soul fragment that was inside of him.
With the whole Wizarding World against him, Harry decides death would be a much better option, and he would take that bastard down with him. Why not? He has nothing left to lose.
Harry wakes up in a completely different time, hearing the Death laughing at him while he tries to remember what happened.
He is forced to go back to Hogwarts and face the boy who killed his family, but the teen he finds there is much different from what he expected.
25 y.o. Harry is now stuck at 16 y.o. body, and he made a decision to help Riddle get back on the right path. After all, Dumbledore was the one who created Voldemort, and he wouldn't give him a chance to do it again. Not if he could help it. And the cherry on top? In doing so, she hopes that the ever so Dark Lord, Tom Riddle will overcome his issues and one day, hopes that his soul will finally become full and complete by bonding with her Heir--his Soulmate.
But with how the Dark Lord is, he wants to be above his Soulmate and free from the prison of being a Soulmate and having a Soulmate. And in doing so, will eventually hurt his Soulmate. The long and difficult road will be bumpy, hurtful and complicated for one Harry Potter.
