Summary
After the Shibuya incident, and life seemed to be getting back to its normal course, Yuuji found himself lost in his purpose. As everyone was getting their life back together, chasing normalcy or improvements, Yuuji could only feel the void within himself grow darker and deeper.
The distance between him and everyone grew with every excuse and flaw he found within himself, even with Gojo who used to be the closest with Yuuji when the boy found out he might be as insignificant in his life like he was in everyone else's.
So all he could think of was to go back to Sendai, and vent to the grave of his grandfather, not realizing that the dead wasn't the only entity listening to his words.Bookmarked by ChristineStrider

Summary
“That’s an ugly pet you’ve got there,” Satoru comments, peering over Yuuji’s shoulder for a better look at the blob of baby-pink flesh he’s cradling.
A baleful red eye bores into him. “Gojou Satoru—”
“I think he’s kinda cute.”
Sukuna’s comically tiny mouth—made all the more hilarious by how the voice coming from within is still his deep bass—snaps shut, that single eye swiveling back to Yuuji while dripping offense and incredulity.
“Cute?” Satoru asks, joining Sukuna in staring at Yuuji.
There’s an unrepentant shrug. “Like a very weird cat. I think he’d be a cat, if he were an animal. You too, sensei. Different types, though. Very different.”
“You’ve…put a lot of thought into this,” Satoru says faintly.
“I’ve had a lot of time to think.” Yuuji smiles. The first smile Satoru’s seen from him, and all he can think is that Yuuji should never, ever smile—not like this. “Hey, Sukuna? If I give you the choice to stay with me, you’ll just say no again, right?”
In one world, death snatches Satoru away from the arms of victory. In this one, his student saves him from the jaws of death.
But this isn’t the Yuuji he knows.

“What..?” A flinch followed by reflex, he swatted his hand away as if it was burned.
“Hm?” Satoru leaned forward right beside him, black shaded round-glasses tilted. Seeing Suguru’s puzzled expression.
“I can’t tame it.”
“You shouldn’t demean my gift Suguru,” Satoru chastised.
“I’m not kidding around Satoru.” Suguru continuously looked back and forth between the frightened boy and his own palm in disbelief.
In which Sukuna accepts Yuuji’s offer to return to him. But it instead warps them back to the past.
(un)fortunately, Yuuji doesn’t remember his alternate life.

Where Yuuji stopped visiting Sukuna’s domain because he keeps talking abt a man he yearns that isn’t him.Yuuji confront his unrequited love that had plagued his months that only grew to wound himself more due to Sukuna's absolute obsession with Megumi, but perhaps Yuuji had just been pouring his affection to the wrong person.
