Vai contar história pra outro, Juquinha”, ela escolhia acreditar que, depois de tantos anos na Polícia Civil, já estava calejada. Afinal, seria difícil ter que investigar o pai da própria noiva – agora esposa – por homicídio triplamente qualificado e adulteração de medicamentos sem criar, pelo menos, um pouquinho de casca grossa.

Summary
Galinda could think of very few things that were worse than tutoring. Stained clothing, for example, or smudged lipstick. A mistake during a cheer routine, or failing a class and getting kicked off the team. And Galinda was failing calculus, so she swallowed her pride and quietly signed up for a tutor.
She did not sign up to spend Thursday nights with Fiyero’s ex, but cheerleading was worth it. (She hoped.)
