Gran Year 780 - Two years have passed since the end of the war that took countless lives, notably including Nanna’s in 775. Rather than returning to his hometown of Hrest, Asbel decided that he would stay by Leif’s side. Between war summits, magic study sessions, the rebuilding and reunification of North and South Thracia, and whatever downtime they managed to squeeze into their schedules (typically at nighttime), Leif and Asbel grew closer by the day, strengthening their already-close friendship. Since they were such close friends and Thracia needed as much space as possible for its people and supplies, they agreed to share a room together. It’s not like they were new to this—when Leif fled to Tahra and stayed there from 768 to 773, they would often have sleepovers together. However, that didn’t seem to be the only reason that they didn’t mind sharing a bed…
