Summary
Walking through the swap-meet, seeing all the different kinds of stands all around, selling trinkets and weird things that are mostly old and used. From the 1920s or 1980s, there was no middle ground. Sometimes, there are gems among the trash that people pass by unless someone is daring enough to search for them.
Sam doesn’t care about that. He only cares about his cars, mainly the mini car collection that he can display on his shelves.
Not knowing he would buy a group of sentient, alien mini-transformers who are currently at war, also in need of help.

Summary
Lucent has no idea how he got into Rung's body, or why. He doesn't even know he's Rung, just that he's in the body of that one orange psychiatrist bot from a Transformers comic series that his friend wants him to read.
He never did.
And now he's here, in a world he doesn't recognize. The only Transformers Media he's consumed was TFP! Not— what was it called? IDE? Either way, he's here now and he's suddenly a- a parent to a bunch of kids he keeps sparking to life accidentally! He didn't even mean to those first few times, he swears!
Lucent just wants to live in peace with his family now, but the world he's in is Shattered Glass and nothing is peaceful here.
Rung has long lost his powers of creation, now he watches from the shadows as his people stumble their way through life.
When a miracle occurs that was definitely not caused by him, Rung is intrigued. When he finds a mech who bears his resemblance and wields his old powers of creation, Rung is obsessed.
Lucent was, and will be his. Always. They were two halves of a whole, no matter what Lucent said.
Lucent's family take after their creator in unexpected ways; i.e. people get obsessed with them quite easily.
