Aerion finished his joust match as before: he killed the horse, injured Ser Humfrey’s leg, and got banned from the tournament. But he was too tired from his father’s lecture to visit the commoners’ markets, so the next day the tournament continued.
He sat in the highborn seats and watched the boring joust.
Now, it wasn’t so boring, when the wooden lance of some stupid inexperienced huge hedge knight came flying toward his father and uncle’s seats. Both were chatting with some lord and unaware until Aerion abruptly pushed them out of danger. The lance struck deep into the prince’s side. Blood was everywhere.
And that stupid knight? He now owes him a massive debt.

"Apologies, Lord Lannister," Ser Duncan says, his voice steady, tone stern. Aerion has to, embarrassingly enough, go on his tiptoes to catch a look at his profile, and his face seems confident, not at all intimidated by the annoyed gaze Lannister throws him. "Prince Maekar was very clear that no one was to touch Prince Aerion without his explicit consent."
Lord Lannister makes a complicated face, as if he can't quite understand the words out of Ser Duncan's mouth. "Pardon me? No, Prince Maekar wants his son wed within the year. All of the Seven Kingdoms has heard it by now. If he expects no one to touch him, he might as well lock him in his chambers and lose the key!"
Aerion steps forward as white-hot anger flashes in his veins; he moves, intending to beat this puny little lord's insolence to a bloody pulp, but Ser Duncan throws an arm out and forcibly shoves Aerion back behind him, a warning growl on his lips.
Lord Lannister freezes. Aerion freezes. Ser Duncan stays relaxed.

The not mystery person then wakes up. John Walker doesn’t leave that bed for a long time.

He’s getting sleepy and resembles a golden retriever about to take a nap. Deep laugh lines radiate from the corners of his eyes when he smiles like this, and for some time after they all moved into the tower, none of them got to see John like that. Everyone walked around Bob on tiptoes, but he thinks that actually, John was the tough case to crack.

Summary
No one ever told Sero that Bakugou was easy. Sure, he was an asshole. Definitely a hardass. He had this ridiculous code that he stood by, making him seem totally insufferable to most people. There were a few that could tolerate him. There were many more than simply couldn’t stand him.
Sero prided himself in the fact that he was the only one who knew the explosive blond well enough to say that he couldn’t get enough. It had taken years, and that wasn’t a hyperbole in the least. Sero had waited years for their tumultuous friendship to become more.
That’s okay with Sero. He’s a patient guy. Always has been, and as far as Bakugou is concerned, always will be. If the only thing he really has to give up in exchange for so many great things is patience, then he’ll wait forever. Because despite all of Bakugou’s flaws - and fuck, there sure are a lot of those - there are so many secret little wonderful things that drive Sero positively crazy.Bookmarked by Cheyrandom10

"Yeah," Dean says, "of course you do," and he nods jerkily as he looks down at his phone. He doesn't say goodbye. He doesn't look up from the screen when Cas gets up and leaves the room. He doesn't finish his coffee, or move for a long time.
