Lan Jingyi relents himself to being dragged again, however not without narrowing his eyes at the little boy.
“Just because I’m not your Rich-gege doesn’t mean I’m poor,” he mumbles under his breath.
A-Yuan gives a shrug and hums noncommittally,

Summary
The one where Yu Ziyuan time traveled but she thought that it was her visions of her alternate life.
She learned that there is a brat named Wei Ying who brought destruction to her and her family's life.
And so in her present, she vowed that she will never allow that to happen.
In which Yu Ziyuan found the four-year-old Wei Ying, newly pushed out of the inn where his parents left him, and decided that no, this child must never be associated with her, her family, and their sect at all.
And so Yu Ziyuan thought that she could bring him somewhere where someone may or may not find him but definitely far from where her husband could find him. If he's lucky, he'll survive that winter, if he's not, then death awaits the fevered child.
This is the extent of mercy that Yu Ziyuan could give a child.
With this, she'll raise her children without having to deal with a brat that brings trouble where he goes according to her visions of her alternate life.
Like the tag stated, this is definitely not Yu Ziyuan centric.

Wuxian blinked.

He felt a tug on his heart.
He felt some ice crack.
“It was small but it was there, I saw it,” Lan Xichen said. “You should smile a little more, san-gongzi. The world deserves to see that.”
He smiled?

He recalled the twinkling smiling eyes of Lan Xichen, the carefree laughter followed by a soft one, both still sounded melodious and – and –
Oh, he thinks he did.
Wei Wuxian thought that his life revolved around making sure that he makes yifu proud, but then he realized that the reality was far too different from what his yifu wanted.
As Wei Wuxian started to formulate a plan to change the course of his fate, he was suddenly faced with a person who affected his life more than he ever thought he would.
(Truly, doesn't the First Jade get tired of smiling?)

Wen Wuxian is born the 3rd son of Wen Ruohan and we follow him through the course of his life from his kidnapping to his time in the Cloud Recesses, the war, and beyond as he turns his life upside down to protect those he loves.
“Does all of the Wen Sect think we’re courting?”
His friend winced, shuffling uncomfortably “It’s the equivalent of being engaged.”
They were engaged.
All of Wen Ying's friends and family thought they were engaged.
This was the best day of his life.
“It doesn’t have to mean anything…” Wen Ying said.
This was now the worst day of his life.
