“Oh!” he sputters, because his traitor brain currently can’t focus on anything other than how pretty Shinsou’s eyes are. “Y-yes! I’m fine!” He tries to wave his arms but forgets, again, his current predicament, and the sudden motion destroys his precarious balance in Shinsou’s lap and he begins to teeter dangerously.
I deserve this, Izuku thinks.

After a firefighter ran out with Namur's child, Kingdew confirmed that that was the last of them.
But that wasn't the last of them, not to Marco. His precious Phoenix was still inside.
So, while he had been determined and almost ran into the burning building himself, a firefighter came to him like an angel. Even though his brother called out that it was just a stupid bird, the firefighter listened to his direction and disappeared into the burning building to save his baby.-
