Okay. Creepily familiar voice in his bedroom.
God. He was too tired for this shit.
“Good to know,” Peter continued, finished with his inspection of a teenage-boy’s bedroom, then he focused on Stiles. Stiles hoped the expression on his face was the creepy discomfort of being in what amounted to a kid’s bedroom and not something stupid, like pity. He didn’t think he could handle pity right now.
In counterpoint to his wishes, Peter’s gaze travelled from his face, to his neck and landed on his torso with an intensity that suggested he could see beneath his shirt and he didn’t like what he found. “You’re hurt.”
Stiles rolled his eyes. “Yeah,” he bit out, squeezing his eyes closed because fuck, even that hurt. “Thanks for that, I had no idea. What are you? Sherlock?”

7/7/26 - well…I have mixed feelings about this story. On the one hand, I really enjoyed the humor and overall arc. On the other, I was seriously disappointed that the author chose to believe that Peter was thoroughly evil and deserved to stay in Eichen - it’s mostly a throwaway line, but that was disappointing. I enjoyed Stiles sticking up for himself after being kicked out, and the closer re-established relationship Stiles and Noah achieved. The texting buddy writing device was pretty genius and the surprise waiting for Stiles in Seattle was great. I’m going to believe that someone finds evidence that Peter is redeemable and they get him out of there, because that character seriously suffered so much and deserves a good ending too.

7/6/26 - Omg! This was brutal and gorgeous. I really enjoyed the story from Peter’s POV and Stiles voice in written form. The whole arc was so intriguing and engaging. Seriously brutal, but I really enjoyed the mutual respect that Peter and Stiles grew for each other. ____ Peter initially rescues Stiles (an unknown incubus) and through helping Stiles to heal becomes accidentally mated to him. Revenge is pursued and the evil Argents are destroyed.

7/5/26 - well, it was a good read. Took me pretty much all day to read. It’s mostly a relationship study type story. There are a couple harrowing ok incidents to get thru as well as the trust building angst for the pair. Interesting story. I could read again, but not right away. Maybe in a few years.

7/4/26 - so, I really enjoyed chapter 8 to the end. The first third if the story is just a rehash of the show with little deviation and seriously boring. When reading again, be sure to read chapter 1 and then skip directly to chapter 9; seriously won’t be missing anything.

7/4/26 - good story, but the very last bit of the ending was confusing. Who was to be classified as ‘inhuman’? Because either/or/and the pack, Stiles - it’s horrible. They shouldn’t be classified. Period. ____ So, I’m not cool with the ending. The rest was a pretty good ride with BAMF Stiles and his competence. The relationship pairing was…okay. The story was definitely more about Stiles being in SHIELD and the ramifications. So overall? Worth a later read perhaps, but stop at the last scene where Tony arrives in BH. That’s a better ending.

6/20/26 - this is a gorgeous scene. So short, but very poignant. I could maybe see this as a scene out of larger arc. Maybe where it’s Derek/Stiles? Maybe this could be a Peter/Chris?_____ Just spinning here, but what if Scott is killed by Deucalion, Deucalion is killed by the Darach? The Darach is killed by Chris, Sheriff, Stiles, and Derek? Without Scott there, the whole pack dynamic shifts. Have to figure out who is saved through the events and who dies (Erica, Boyd, Isaac?) Does Jackson evolve earlier into his hybrid form thereby ‘helping’ out the rest of the pack during the Darach and Nogitsune events?

6/16/26 - omg! This was soooooo good. Like the whole thing. Loads of family feels, action, machinations, and introspection. Great Sheriff Stilinski. The characterization is real and growth occurs. So worth future reads. I really loved how creative the author was in this Etch-a-Sketch AU of the show. So brilliant. The loss and then subsequent growth is so heartbreaking and rewarding. I really enjoyed the team up near the end.
