So wonderfully, achingly, soft. Coco so deserves this gentleness and the economy of the manga narrative doesn’t allow it. I didn’t realise how much both she (and I) needed (to read) it after the Romonon chapters. This feels lush with detail that feels authentic, the best kind of slice of life fic. Olruggio in manga, anime, and fanfic is quickly becoming a favourite character!

Hot as hell, with the most tender? and hot? smut? ever? First time I’ve considered setting a bookmark private! The author would make a killing trad publishing, this was WAY better written than most spicy romances on the market! Has been a genuine (and bittersweet) joy to read and hoping the author will continue even in spite of what Oda might do in the manga. This segues so well into season two live action and it would be bliss to have more!

A “Reader Insert” that stands comfortably as their own iconic and compelling character, with a plot I can easily wrap my head around with only my live action knowledge. Do not recommend reading when you have actual stuff do to, you won’t get it done as you’ll be too busy reading this.

Without a doubt, one of the best Fili/OC fics I’ve come across in years. Tightly executed with solid characterisations and an elaboration on the world-building that feels comfortable - not overstuffed. Truly a testament to the writer and fandom’s love that gems like this are still being shared, and I’m so happy I get to look forward to revisiting this one in future. (Shout out to Ed Sheeran’s Loop tour playing ‘I See Fire’ as he always does, and like clockwork: reigniting the love once more!)
