Okay so, I was shocked really, with what happened to Lexa. What happened to Clexa and how much this is going to hurt Clarke now. 307 really shook me, happy beyond belief one second then crushed to pieces the next. Heartache or what?! Anyway, so I decided to write this. Quite a lot more intimacy and a much better outcome for our heroes. There's lots of feelings in this but no heartbreak, don't worry! Please enjoy :)

Okay so I've finally succumbed to the pressure and am posting this on here :)
Beneath the Betrayal is set right after the end of series two this explores the relationship between Clarke and Lexa and whether anything could possibly be salvaged in the aftermath of the mountain. Lots of angst, darkness and soul searching for both characters as well as the drama and danger that awaits them in leading their people against new threats. Budding romance & interactions with other characters. Very NSFW in later chapters. This doesn't follow s3 at all guys except for how Polis looks and it has the Nightbloods, and Titus doesn't exist. This is going to be long and I hope to deliver a story worthy of how Clexa should have been.- Language:

Summary
Toni was doing her job for the Blue and Gold - photography. When she attends a high school football game, she comes across a familiar redhead who has admitted that she had been watching Toni at each game. Cheryl, on the other hand, has a girlfriend, Heather, that never attends the games because she claims she is drowning in her own work at Stonewall and Cheryl, looking to fill the void in her life, recruits Toni as a friend with benefits. They establish rules and the consequences for said rules and everything works for a while until someone, or maybe both of them, break the fifth rule.
OR
Cheryl is cheating on Heather with Toni and they establish rules to keep their deal underwraps but with the close quarters, free time, and dependency, one of them breaks the fifth rule, the most important rule of them all.
