Summary
There are two unchanging facts about Tsukishima Kei’s day.
One, his headphones, his pride and joy– broke. With almost a decade of having them in his possession, one might think they should've broken a long time ago.
Two, it was his birthday today.
Tsukishima got up, did his regular morning routine in the bathroom, went downstairs to have a simple breakfast as his mother wished him a happy birthday, and then he was off to go meet up with Yamaguchi to walk to school without the familiar weight of his headphones around his neck.
Today was gonna be hard.

To an outside observer, the smile on Gojo’s face would have seemed out of place. He had, after all, just been thrown out of a three-story building, blasted by two at least First Grade curses, and subsequently removed his spotless hand from each of their chests in short succession. But more important than any of that, it was Friday. The one day Gojo could home to a dinner he didn’t have to make. The one day he didn’t have to worry about arranging for Megumi and Tsumiki’s pickup or activities after school. The one day when he felt completely at ease about the kids’ safety without him. It was Nanami day.

“Nanami-kun!” Shouko cooed, her hands clamped like a vice around his face, just brushing against his ears, with her cold fingers. If he shivered, it was only a bit. Her big doe eyes studied his tongue intently.
He was vaguely aware of her obsession with his piercings. It seemed like he never escaped a conversation with Shouko without a mention of one of his piercings, old or new. The one he was currently showing her (a tongue piercing with a silver barbell), wasn’t new by any means. He'd gotten it done over the summer break before coming to the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, but this appeared to be Shouko’s first time seeing it, and she looked to be positively enamored with it.
She shuffled forward on her knees to get a better look, and Nanami swore that if she adjusted her position anymore, she’d end up with her head in his mouth. “I can’t believe I’ve never seen this!” One hand leisurely made its way from the side of his face to his chin, while the other dragged to the back of his head, resting on the top of his spine. “You can’t be hiding things from your senpai,” she teased, her voice laced with satire.

What are your parents like? Toge asks Yuuta once they’ve gotten back together for the tenth time that month.
They’re sitting on Toge’s couch watching a movie. Well, Toge is watching, Yuuta was busy going through Toge’s phone to make sure Toge wasn’t lying about talking to other people while they were apart.
Toge might’ve done it out of spite after they broke up. He really shouldn’t mess with Yuuta like that, given his boyfriend’s jealousy, but he can’t help it. It’s entertaining to watch Yuuta get jealous, and even more so when he does something about it.
“They’re loud, really loud,” Yuuta says, handing Toge’s phone back once he’s done.
Toge would’ve protested to his phone being searched, but he’d gone through Yuuta’s phone earlier when his boyfriend had fallen asleep. He’d be a hypocrite if he called Yuuta out knowing he does the same shit whenever his boyfriend isn’t looking. They’re so similar that it’s scary; the only difference is that Toge hides his bad habits while Yuuta doesn’t. Yuuta has absolutely no shame at all about the crazy shit he gets up to. It must run in his family, Toge is sure of it.

Sakusa Kiyoomi is pretty, slouched against a bar. He’s got a tight black turtleneck that molds to his skin, and the golden lights above their heads contour him like they were designed for that express purpose. His hair falls in nicely coiffed curls, inky black. His eyes are dark, dark, dark. Atsumu smiles at him, putting all his charm into it.
Sakusa looks downright murderous. Atsumu wonders if he should feel fear.
