Summary
If you heard "Kelly Wilson, Government Liaison to the South Hill Branch of the Justice Squad" you might imagine a sharp dressed, steely eyed, middle aged man making tough calls on the comms while local heroes engaged supervillains.
That's Director Richardson.
Kelly was a young woman in her late twenties, often in a rumpled skirt suit, with a much smaller office. Her job was mostly to make sure the government's money was being spent well, so she was more of an auditor than anything else. Yes, she had a badge and could technically call herself a federal agent, but you could say the same about a food safety inspector for the FDA. In a perfect world, the closest she'd come to dealing with villains was a guy at an insurance company she had to convince to pay for damage from a hero fight.
That was a prediction that turned out to be both one hundred percent correct and incredibly misleading.

a nice piece with some good foreshadowing and a plausible reason for the protagonist to keep the secret and even join in beyond love.
Includes some good worldbuilding for how government superheros might work from an organisation standpoint. -

Bookmarker's Notes
A sweet romance / worldbuilding piece which explores the weirdness of hardlight dust and the growing 'friendship' between Weiss and Velvet as they discuss the topic.

Summary
Weiss Schnee knew her heiress title was temporary. She'd made her peace with that.
Be it her rebellious nature, the presence of a heart within her chest, or the fuzzy appendage she was born with, she knew it was only a matter time. She'd accepted this, made her own plans, and had a future prepared.Following the murder of Jacques Schnee, her plans are thrown into disarray, and her future is suddenly uncertain, for despite everything, she never considered that she might kill her own Father.
This unforeseen development sends her into a life she could never have predicted, to form bonds she'd never have expected, and to do things she never thought possible.

Bookmarker's Notes
Dark angsty story where Weiss is born a Faunus to her racist parents. the first two chapter covers her life hiding her race then after her father attacks her in anger she retaliates and is far more capable/lethal. Then she is forced to go on the run to avoid being imprisoned due to prejudice despite how it was self defence

Summary
The arrival of a Shard Leviathan is a terrifying, world ending threat for most planets... but for Asdrubael Vect, Supreme Overlord of Commorragh, it was an opportunity...
If only his daughter had not decided to play house with a mon'keigh by the name of Hebert and have a daughter, then he would be able to focus the entirety of his efforts to harvesting slaves and Shard Hosts from the backwater planet called Earth Bet.

Bookmarker's Notes
A rather interesting AU where Earth Bet exist within 40k with the shards as things that just exist and are harvested by the more advanced species. Weaves the AU quite well, plus the subtle horror quietly but obviously in the background as befits a Dark Eldar POV.

Summary
“There’s more to this world than the Greek Gods.”
I looked at my mother incredulously. “What now?”
“The ancient civilizations of the world all manifested divinity in their own ways. Before I met your father, I was a Magician with the House of Life—“
“You’re screwing with me.”

Percy Jackson has spent the last few years getting ahold of being a demigod. Heading home for Christmas, he thought he'd have a break from the stress of preparing for the war against Kronos. Instead, he's dragged along with his mom to London, where a family reunion turns worse for wear when his mom's cousin releases a God. Faced with the realization that the Greek Gods aren't the only pantheon out there, Percy is forced to either abandon his family, or get himself entangled with the troubles of the Egyptian Gods.

What if Sally Jackson was related to the Kanes? What would happen then?

unusual in that it starts mid first series so Percy has some experience but is not ultra bad ass yet.
