Perseus Jackson was tired at 19. He had survived more wars than he ever wanted to. Gods. Demi-gods. Monsters. Titans. The list could honestly go on forever. Could you blame him for wanting an out? Before him, demi-gods didn't live long to begin with. They died young and usually not peacefully. Percy didn't want to die. He liked walking. He liked breathing. He liked existing. But being a demi-god taught him something quickly: your life wasn't really yours. It belonged to the gods.
He loved his camp.. Annabeth the most but it became to much..
They called you brave. They called you strong. Then they handed you a sword and expected you to survive.
Percy was tired of being chosen.So one morning he took a train into the city and walked into a courthouse.
Nobody looked at him twice.No monsters watching from alleyways. No gods appearing with impossible requests.
Just fluorescent lights and a bored woman behind a desk sliding papers toward him. He filled them out..

The sun was being eaten.
Little dots were eating away at our light.
I realized in that moment this wasn’t just about me. If I didn’t figure this out or set someone on the right path to figure this out, not only would the other sun gods die, but everyone would die. Humans depended on the light of the Sun to survive. If the sun dropped too low in luminosity, the planet would freeze, and they would die. And thus, it would kill the gods. We would cease to be, with no one left. I also cannot let Helios’ light go out. He may be faded, but I am his legacy. He was the closest thing I had to an actual father. I cannot let one of the last things I have of his go out. I hugged my children and Meg tighter. I would not let them die. I cannot let them die.With the sun starting to dim, the sun gods start to show symptoms and become sick. Apollo is also falling victim to this sickness, but not as badly as the others. He vows to save everyone.

Maybe teleporting when you were half conscious wasn't the best idea, especially when you were teleporting an entire group of people. But that was the risks the Gs took when the Bamboozlers had been making their escape. To say the very least, the pay-out was NOT worth it.
