This plays on several "what ifs", including: What if Daemon and Rhea had a functional, if a bit odd, marriage? What if a small, almost insignificant, decision more than a decade before his birth created a friendship that changed the fate of Larys Strong? What if the Strong brothers were loyal to each other before anyone else? What if a near-accident caused Harwin Strong and Rhaenyra Targaryen to meet earlier? Most importantly, what if King Viserys started becoming suspicious of Otto Hightower and confided those concerns to his brother, his cousin, and two of his closest councilors? This is only a clip of a conversation and glimpse into the mind of a Helaena Targaryen whose dragon dreams were noticed and believed much earlier in her life as a consequence of a Viserys who made the decision to be involved in the lives of his children.
