Vi is determined to make live up to her idol's legend, but with so many problems facing her team...

Vi has spent the last one hundred years searching for her beloved. Promised to her in a show of peace, the Werewolf Princess has been living with Vi and her family for at least a decade and a half before she had disappeared in a misguided rescue attempt by dissidents among the old werewolf high houses. Vi’s family had given up the search long ago and insisted that she find a new mate but neither she nor Caitlyn’s parents refused to give up the search. After so many years they finally had a lead on where the lost princess might be but what they find might just break whatever fragile attempt at peace existed.

Vi wanted to emit a sigh of relief but she couldn’t. Everything about this girl screamed ‘I bathe in gold and diamonds every evening,’ from her tailored vest to the shined shoes. There had to be a catch. That was the one consistency their cities had in common, their shared language: nothing ever came free.
“And in return,” there it was. She continued, with another glance at Vi’s clothes. “You’ll take me to the Undercity.”

Slowly, Caitlyn turned around to face the female lycanthrope, who didn’t seem to care; too focused on the pain she was going through. The surgeon watched her for a few seconds before making a decision. She announced softly, “I’m going to call for help.”
The lupine eyes widened in disbelief before the creature straightened up, grabbing the seat to support herself and nearly crashing the headrest with the strength of her fist in the process. Caitlyn gasped and recoiled, putting as much space between them as the car allowed. Once again, the red-haired woman opened her mouth, finally managing to speak. “No. Please.”
The voice was not human, deep and gravelly, almost too distorted for the words to make sense.

After a long and disastrous day, Caitlyn Kiramman, a neurosurgeon, just wants to go home. What she didn't plan was to find a pink-haired, strangely familiar werewolf in the back of her car, asking for help with a deep wound.
If she doesn't remember this person, she quickly realized something: her heart knows her.OR
A modern setting werewolf AU with a lot of fluff because, in every universe, Vi and Caitlyn deserved to be in love and happy.
