"Interesting TikTok you posted there." Luke shivered at the sound of Michael's voice behind him. He was sitting in the dressing room, doing his make up - but when his eyes met Michael's in the mirror, he froze. There was an amused smile playing on his lips and a dangerous spark hiding in his gaze.
Luke caught himself and smiled back, faking innocence. "You mean the one I uploaded an hour ago?"

Okay, so playing each other's guitars during Voodoo Doll every single fucking night maybe hadn't been Michael's best idea. Of course, he loved messing around with Luke on stage, but every time he did there was a slight tingle in his stomach that was hard to ignore.
And the biggest problem: It just kept getting worse.
The way Luke would lean down to get a better access to his guitar, the way he would randomly look up at Michael with an expression that screamed 'fuck, we are so cool' - it made Michael drown in memories he had tried to lock away in the back of his brain for years now. Memories from when playing each other's guitars wasn't the only reason they were leaning into each other.

Being back home after such a long time on the road was weird. Of course, Luke was beyond happy to finally be with his family again - but somehow, his heart still felt heavy. Because while he may be reunited with his parents, his second family was now missing. He missed Ashton's stupid jokes, Calum's giggles - but most of all, he missed Michael.

Awsten smiled at Michael, he really was one of the sweetest guys he's ever met. Only last week they had played Michael's shows at Fonda and Luke had suggested they all go out for dinner - Waterparks and 5 Seconds Of Summer. And now that they were all sitting together in the VIP area of some Irish Pub, Awsten could not be any happier.
