When Crowley met the Dead Boy Detectives, fresh out of their graves, he'd been interested. He hadn't expected much, but he was interested. He doesn't expect to care, and he doesn't expect to learn from them. But, it was nice to have the kids around, occasionally.
Crowley didn't know it was possible for someone to stay. Crowley didn't know it was possible for someone to fear demons, despise demons, and yet love him anyway.

Point is, Professor Gladlen's a nice teacher. Enthusiastic enough that even the people who usually sleep through every class perk up when he walks in, and kind enough to offer office hours almost anytime.
Kat’s convinced that the majority of his classes are in love with him.
It’s not like they can’t see the appeal. Professor Gladlen, in the nicest way possible, both looks and acts like a dad, and they can see how a group of young adults with daddy issues would be drawn to someone with dad-vibes.
It’s too bad they’re as gay as, well. A rainbow, for the lack of creativity.
(or; where professor robert gladlen has two hot twink boyfriends who come to his lectures and who end up causing major, major heartbreak. and hey! desire didn't even have to meddle this time!)
