Summary
It’s a weakness the way he feels towards the man he’s sworn undying, unbridled loyalty to. He knows that. But he can’t seem to banish those feelings. So he just promises to get strong enough that it doesn’t matter anymore, another buoy in the ocean marking the milestones towards his goal.
Yet, despite knowing the inherent nature of his captain and his easily spread affections, and knowing that he couldn’t -wouldn’t- dare to cage them like he’ll cage his feelings, he still feels his chest tug when his bright gaze is turned towards someone else.
Especially that waiter.

Summary
Shouta has more teenagers than he knows what to do with when one of them suddenly brings a five-year-old into the picture. Of course, she becomes Shouta's newest problem, and the moment Hitoshi and Hizashi meet her, he knows she's coming home with them. It was never temporary, even if that's what he agreed to. He invests in it like it's forever, and realizes how much Eri has begun to grow in his image. How could it be temporary when Shouta hasn't thought about it ending even once?
That is what he agreed to, though, and it catches up to him at the worst possible moment: Just as they finally figure it all out.
