“Ya know, if something’s bothering you, you could tell me ‘bout it. It might feel better to get it off your chest if it’s keeping you up, even though you’ve been awake for… who knows how long. Can’t be healthy.” Mobius went on in a soft, gentle tone.
“Gods don’t need sleep.” Loki muttered, opening his eyes, but not looking at the other. “It’s more of a pastime really.”
“Really?” Mobius raised an eyebrow. “What about the guy I saw in the archives, practically sleeping while sitting up, staring blankly at those files?”
“Yeah, looking through those boring files is exhausting in and of itself.” Loki huffed. There was another silence, with only the barely audible noises of the constantly operating TVA-offices on another floor. Mobius moved from leaning on the backrest of the couch to sitting on the armrest. He wasn’t going back to bed until the other had fully rested up.
