Dark Link tries to keep the incredulous disbelief from his voice. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter how idiotic this plan or his master is being. If that was what Demise wanted, that would be what it got. Demise did not accept disobedience. Or failure.
Which is how Dark finds himself staring down the blades of nine heroes, wondering why this is his life.
“So,” he begins. “Sorry ‘bout the whole, uh, trying to kill you repeatedly for millennia thing.” For some reason, this makes the heroes tense further. “…No hard feelings?”

Summary
Legend finds himself set adrift - apart from his brothers, in a new place filled with foreign faces. He knows little, but enough to keep himself alive.
Warriors has been left bereft of two brothers. He has studied for years, trained for countless hours, and suffered for the experience he holds so dear. He has known enough to know when he is lacking, and he finds himself in troubled waters.
Time is constant - moving yet stagnant. There is much he has to answer for, but it will not be today, for all some may wish otherwise.

Summary
Bouncing between the foster care system and his neglectful at best/abusive at worst parents, Link "Legend" Alphonson-Kokiri has been desperate to be free of the cycle. Finally, after a so called "Lesson" he decides that enough is enough and is ready for a change. A change that starts with a long awaited phone call.

Summary
The Chain enters a dungeon with three sections, with access to work through each of them from the beginning. Alone, it could take days to work through a section, go back to the beginning, and go through another. Then to enter the boss room. Good thing there's nine of them, and divided by three, that's three experienced heroes to take on each section.
Wind and Legend, with the most dungeons under their belts and experience going through dungeons with each other, are already going down one hall with Twilight resigning himself to his fate.
What happens when a mini-boss along the way gets a hit in and Twilight and Wind are met with a much younger version of the Veteran?

Summary
Link was enjoying his retirement when he heard about four strangers looking for him.
That can never mean anything good.Link, now Legend, has to navigate a new adventure with people by his side.
When multiple adventures have taken a toll on both his body and mind, will he escape with his sanity in tact.
Will he ask for help? Willingly?(This is technically a prequel to the new normal, but can be read as a standalone. Because of that, Wild will not be in this fic.)
