Left alone at the Academy, the Recruits quickly become incredibly bored. Hot Shot misses his phone.

_________________“We even did all of the homework Heatwave left us, and we already cleaned the Academy top-to-bottom.” Wedge sighed, dropping a piece of whatever equipment he was dismantling, “And I’m getting sick of taking this apart just to put it back together. There’s gotta be something we can do. Anything.” His optics shuttered, “I’ll even clean the Academy a fourth time, that’s how bored I am.”
“And the professors aren’t going to be back for a few days,” Whirl added, not moving from her spot on the floor, though she did move her helm up to look at everyone else, “I’ll even take a minor emergency. Another balloon in a tree.”
No one commented on the disaster that was the last balloon-in-a-tree mission.

"Chase, you're home!" Blades jumping up off the couch wasn't unusual, the helicopter bouncing in place with sheer excitement. "We weren't expecting you until the morning!"
"Blades, give him some space buddy." Boulder had been in his usual painting corner when Chase arrived, again not an unusual sight, though looking very happy for the enforcer as he tugged Blades away from the center of the room. "Welcome home Chase, I would have given you a heads up, but..."
"We kinda gave 'em all a surprise." A bot that had been perched on the couch next to Blades stood with a lax salute, the smile on their face plate forced as much as it was genuine, ocean blue optics scanning Chase as they moved closer. "You look good, little brother."
"I - I don't...Bluestreak?"
