    “Mrs. Ugliano,” Alfred suggested, a thin brow raised at her slightly disheveled appearance. She supposed that there have bee better years.
    “Alfred, Sally’s fine.” She responded.
    Alfred’s eyes widened when he saw Percy, a small smile gracing his usually stoic features. “You must be the new ward. My name is Alfred Pennyworth.”
    Percy stared at him with wide eyes before responding in a small voice. “Percy. I’m Percy Jackson.”

    Percy spends a year at the Manor, before returning to the City in the wake of Jason Todd's death. Bruce begins to notice a pattern: the smallest Jackson goes missing, comes back, goes missing, comes back, at the start of every summer. They don't call him the Best Detective for nothing.

    There's a pattern here that he just can't pick.

    Percy, after having gone through two wars, exhausted and utterly done with the gods, decides to take a break from the Greek world and return to his adopted family back in Gotham.
    But of course his closest brother is a crime lord/vigilante who died and came back to life and has cut contact with the rest of the family, and of course his adopted father is the Batman!

    Jason sees Percy, back from the dead, with a white streak, green eyes, and a new air of darkness to him, and he knows exactly how their family will react after all Jason's done. He knows he's the only one that can really help his brother.

    (Or, basically, me re-writing the og version I wrote, getting distracted by shiny new ideas, and turning it into a more angsty fic.)

    Being related to Bruce Wayne had its ups and downs. Being a demigod made that all the more difficult.
    Percy Jackson, son of Sally Jackson, formally Wayne, lived with his uncle Bruce from age seven to fifteen, before the realities of being a demigod made it clear that there was no place for him in Gotham.

    Two years later, Percy had lived through two great prophecies, multiple wars, and Tartarus, and just wanted to feel safe again.
    So, he decided to go back home, even with the bat infestation.

    Peter Parker was tired.
    The all consuming, aching, bone-deep kind of tired that only ever came with way too much on one's plate. It was slow; agonizingly slow—his lungs strained as he breathed, and every time it became more difficult, like he was right back under that building, struggling to hold up hundreds of tons of concrete and rubble, unable to stop because if he stopped—that was it. No do-overs for Peter Parker. There would be—nothing.

    Percy Jackson was done. So, so incredibly over literally everything in the universe. He wanted to lay down and just—stop. Have the world slow down, and—for once in his goddamn life, rest peacefully.

    Neither of them get what they want, of course.
