Summary
See, Eddie wasn’t some kind of traditionalist. He didn't care about old-fashioned gender roles. He didn't think omegas belonged stuck in a kitchen, and he didn't think alphas had to be the absolute bosses of everything. But he did believe in instincts. He believed in the natural order of things and what a body was meant to do.
And looking at Buck, Eddie drew his own quiet conclusions: Buck was living in the wrong shell. He was miserable trying to force himself into the alpha mould, running himself ragged trying to live up to a biology that didn't fit his soul.
Buck would be so much happier, so much better off, if he could just be an omega.
---
In which, Eddie helped Buck become the omega he was meant to be.

Summary
Yeah, you're the first person I've told," Eddie continues, feigning indifference. "Thought you could show me the ropes, ya know?"
Letting out an exasperated laugh, Buck shakes his head and turns away, pinching the bridge of his nose as if he's getting a headache.
"Sh-Show you the ropes?"
Knowing how that probably sounds, he tries to explain himself, "Yeah, I mean, like how to get into the dating scene now that I'll be dating–"
"Now that you'll be dating guys."
"Yup."
Or,
Eddie comes out to Buck, which solidifies to Buck that Eddie just isn't interested in him like that.
Meanwhile, Eddie treats his coming out to Buck as a love confession. Knowing that now that he’s into men, of course Buck would be his first choice.Bookmarked by BookishWolf

Summary
“Ravi, I want you to have my fours,” says Buck, before Ravi can start his own turn. All three heads at the table turn to him in incredulous unison, so he adds, “What?”
“That is simply not how the game works,” answers Ravi, dumbfounded. “How do you—are you real?”
“Don’t open that can of worms,” Eddie teases with a shake of his head. “I’m still trying to work that one out, and I was roommates with the guy.”
Barely audible, Hen mutters, “Roommates, he says. Is that what historians will call it?”
or: Eddie has a work wife. Buck has a lot to figure out.

Summary
For a sickening, devastating second, Eddie thinks Buck is going to turn his back on him and rush to Tommy.
But then Buck’s expression crumples into something so sad that Eddie would do just about anything to get rid of it - to change it into the sunshine smile he’s so accustomed to. And then Buck is hurrying towards him, arms outstretched so he can take Eddie’s bruised and bleeding hand into his own.
“What the hell happened?” Buck asks, frantic. “Are you okay?”
Tommy scoffs. “He punched me,” he yells, straining against Chim and Ravi’s hold.
