Summary
After the destruction of Cloud Recesses, Lan Wangji gives his body and his service to Jin Guangshan in exchange for the means to secure the future of Gusu Lan. Left defenseless and alone by his own actions, he is resigned to a life of cruelty and degradation in Golden Scale Tower, entirely cut off from events happening beyond its filigreed walls.
