    He pursed his lips. "I'm not washing all the kid's jerseys again." He'd done it once and his washroom had smelled weird for weeks.
    She chuckled. "No, not that. We need a new coach and-"
    "I already told you, I can't."
    "I know you couldn't before but now-" She paused dramatically clearly hoping to entice him with her next words. "Now there's someone you could coach with. The two of you could work together, split the work! It won't fall completely on you."
    His face broke out into a big grin. "That would be - amazing. Wow." He would love to work with someone, have someone to rely on and bounce ideas off of. And whoever it was must have been as invested as him, maybe their team could finally win a few games. "Who is it? Hayden? That sly dog, he didn't tell me. Or-"
    "Rozanov."

    Or, Shane and Ilya are single parents with sons on the same peewee hockey team, and they don't exactly get along. But when they become co-captains for the team they'll have to learn to work together, both on and off the rink.
