Summary
With Princess Vaggi's recent marriage and rumored child-on-the-way, it was of the utmost importance that Alastor's upcoming audition to become the ventriloquist on the royalty family's cast of entertainers go absolutely perfectly. As such, he seeks out the most acclaimed puppet maker in the city, Mr. Morningstar, who seems more than a little worse for wear. But in the end he agrees to make a puppet for Alastor. In return Alastor is to lend a hand in getting the puppet maker's near-abandoned shop back in working order.
What will this extended time together allow to come to life?

Summary
After the role he played in Vox's plan, Lucifer's depression is at an all time low. The nightmares get worse, and he wonders why anyone bothers to have him around anymore. Shockingly, he gets help from the most unlikely source, namely a certain Radio Demon who has begun to act a little strange around him as of late. He thinks he can handle what's in store for him. He thinks that with Alastor's help, he can maybe start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Everything started to feel so easy.
At least, until certain feelings got in the way.

The aggressive red lines mock him from across the room, drawing his eye no matter how much he tries to resist. Not only is it ridiculous, garish, but the damned audacity he has in drinking from it like it’s just another cup makes it impossible to think of anything else.
Alastor doesn’t hate many things, but seeing his artwork defaced and enjoyed by that damned clown is far more than he can stomach.

She ignores him and tries again. "He's not..." she groans. "...not..." Her whole body shakes as she draggs in air. Her lips quiver. "He is not...human."
Or...
Lucifer couldn't be any happier with his relationship with Alastor and working as a Park Ranger, but when a camper is attacked in the forest, he begins to question if the one he loves has been completely honest with him.
Someone or something may have an insidious plan against him and the ones he loves. In order to keep them safe, he will have to learn how to defend himself against beings he only believed to be in stories told over a campfire.
