“Ok so,”, the sheep laughed awkwardly, taking a cautious step backwards, “don’t freak out.”
“Spit it out, Lamb.”, Narinder hissed, the change of expression on the Leader’s features doing the opposite of calming him down.
“They’re a little hurt and- hey!”, the Lamb hadn’t a chance to finish their sentence, instead calling out after the black cat. Narinder wasted little time before he’d jumped down from the beams of the temple, the sheep quick in their attempt to follow, running out of the building after the former God. By the time they’d reached the temple door, Narinder was already half-way through the grounds of Paradise, “they’re in the medical tent!”, Lamb called out after the taller man, a wistful, enamoured sigh leaving their parted lips as they’d watched the cat change course abruptly.

Summary
The plinth beneath the Goat was already turning to liquid and emanating a flickering, violet light as the veil betwixt their worlds was briefly sundered, allowing for a blinding white light to slip through the pentagram and envelope the Goat.
He had taken things too far, at least that's what the Lamb's message had been, clear as day.
Apparently he needs to learn to be more 'gentle' before he is allowed to return. Whatever, he's been needing to attend to his own cult for some time.

Summary
The Lamb has betrayed their patron God, an entity that gave them power and a chance at revenge. The sole person they truly adore. They betrayed him and left him as little more than a long-lived mortal, stuck in a cult that was meant his upon liberation. The two immortals have spent the last decade taking great efforts in avoiding each other. Narinder out of loathing and the Lamb out of crushing guilt, but the fallen God continues to wither despite their cult's best efforts. They had always intended to return the crown, but when no other option is left to prolong their time, they must restore his divinity and hope for his mercy.
