Summary
It's been several weeks since the apocalypse that wasn't. Crowley and Aziraphale have grown closer since that night on the bench and Crowley's offer of a place to stay. They successfully thwarted their respective home offices and Crowley is just starting to accept his spot at Aziraphale's side, neither one feeling the need to hide their friendship any longer.
This is basically a slice of life sort of snippet. Soft, sweet porn with plot and all the feels.

And just when it seems the world has gotten all that it can from the upheaval, it gives a few good shakes just to make sure it’s gotten everything it could out of its inhabitants. That’s how life had been for AJ Crowley for the last 10 years. Everyday it felt as if he were being grabbed by the leg, lifted into the air and just shaken a few times. Just in case he’d anything new in his pockets that the world wanted to claim for its own.
Azariah Fell was content with his life. He had his bookshop, a couple of close friends, and truly felt as if his life was complete. Until the day AJ Crowley appeared in his shop and turned his world upside down.

“No. No trick. I swear on…” he paused and considered all the things he believed in and valued, “...well, I don’t have a lot to swear on, but just believe me, alright? It’s not a trick. Just take the note and read it and do as I say. Please. ”
That last word shot through Aziraphale like a bullet. He’d never heard Crowley actually say please before…certainly not as earnestly as he just had. Unsure what else to do, Aziraphale nodded and Crowley miracle-ed the note over to him. Upon opening it, the angel found a simple yet cryptic message: “ Say ‘Save me’ if you want me to stop.”

When you're in love with your hereditary enemy, anything that happens between you needs to be secret and stolen...
Luckily, Crowley and Aziraphale have developed "the game" to keep up appearances.

Note: The "graphic displays of violence" are in Chapter 9, and I'm not sure just how graphic they are. I think they're pretty mild, but everyone's tastes are different and it's better to be safe than sorry.
