So he studies and imitates and does what he has been build to do. Deceive and manipulate to survive. It’s the only way to live in this world.
When he realizes he’s not the only one pretending, he can’t help but use this chance to make his standing in the team even more secure. After all, Tony Stark would make a powerful ally.

Summary
Kim Dokja wakes up the morning of his 30th birthday having finally managed to forget it was, in fact, his birthday. It’s the work of several weeks of existentialism supplemented with targeted alcoholism. In the end, it had succeeded, and the fact that it is February 15th now means about as much to him as it does any other day in the year.
It is not, however, just like any other day of the year; as Dokja soon discovers when a casual touch from Yu Junghyeok, a coworker he’s known since childhood, reveals that Kim Dokja has suddenly gained the ability to read the minds of others. All with just one touch.
And there’s another thing. Just another small unimportant detail.
