Fresh off one of her most intense jobs in recent memory, Promeia is placed on a mandated week long paid vacation as per standard Krampus protocol. In other words, Downtime.
Stuck with her greatest enemy, boredom, she discovers a new hobby. Correction, the hobby had always been there to begin with. It was just that she did not choose to indulge in it. Always in perfect control of her emotions, the taciturn Queen of Ice is confident that the compartmentalization of her psyche will always be maintained. But you know what they say about addiction, the first hit is the hardest. And control is a slippery slope.
Oh and even though she doesn't know it yet, her next mission requires her to infiltrate a strip club.

Summary
Promeia has experienced one Trial by Cold. Since then she has tried to recreate the feeling of it in various ways. She craves that near death experience a second time, and then a third. A way to escape that presumably lets her mind process the guilt.

Summary
Rikku is captured by the Leblanc Syndicate and trapped inside her Giant Cait Sith Mascot Dressphere. Bound and gagged, she is paraded through Luca’s crowded streets. Two Syndicate operatives stay close as excited children swarm the adorable mascot, unaware of her plight. Rikku’s muffled sounds go unheard; fearing for the kidnapped female hostages, she doesn’t resist and hopes Yuna and Paine will notice her disappearance and rescue her. The humiliating walk continues toward an unknown fate.
