Summary
On their way back to Erid, Rocky and Grace discover a mysterious box. Upon opening it, the two discover some strange changes. Well, perhaps way more than strange.
Rocky finds a new marking on his arm similar to Grace's scar, and Grace finds markings similar to Rocky's on his arms and legs.
Rocky begins to dream and can easily wake from sleep, and Grace can stay up for much longer than a normal human should.
Grace starts seeing sound when it's too dark to properly see, and Rocky starts seeing pops of colour in his sound vision.
Neither can understand what's happening to them and how they're seemingly linked together, but they know there's nothing in the world that could tear them apart.
(TLDR: This fic will include almost everyone's favourite things! Rocky learns about how Grace got on the Hail Mary (Including Rocky witnessing the memory of Grace being sent on the Hail Mary)! Grace can survive in Rocky's atmosphere! Grace will live as long as Rocky! Rocky and Adrian reuinite and Adrian meets Grace! Shadow Milk froze, as if he could somehow avoid the impending interaction if he stayed completely still, which was an entirely foolish notion, and probably came from whatever animal instincts a sheep’s body came with. After all, they were very nervous animals, and Shadow Milk cookie was not a helpless little lamb.
Of course, the healer, being a foolish cookie who cared about insignificant things, smiled warmly down at him. A tanned hand slowly reached out towards Shadow Milk, hovering unobtrusively, just shy of touching the side of his snout. The healer was clicking his tongue now, and making other appeasing sounds, trying to get him to come closer.

Shadow Milk was a ‘normal cookie’; he often found it funny that he shared the same name as a character from a novel he read. Friends and students alike frequently teased him for it. But alas, he was a teacher at heart, and there was no way in his mind that he would torment someone so kind-hearted who believed in the truth.
After all, Pure Vanilla was such a charming character that he was swayed by his lowest and cried at his peaks when he overcame his suffering.
This is why it was distressing to find himself as an astral projection watching over Pure Vanilla in a world where he was still known as “Healer Cookie.”
With a book in his hands, he was given a checklist of requirements. Oh- He was Shadow Milk Cookie, from the novel. Shouldn’t he be given a script? Witches, where would he even begin? He was a performer at heart, but in something so life-like, he might have been given an impossible task.
