Summary
Rhaenyra Targaryen had became accustomed to loss. From the form of her father named Viserys I and the stillbirth of her daughter Visneya, she thought nothing more could shatter her heart. That was changed, however, when Lucaerys was struck by her half-brother's monster of a dragon, sending her body tumbling into the sea.
No comfort was brought to her, even after the remains of her clothing were burned as per Targaryen tradition. Yet, when one morrow Rhaenyra and her family, extended and close, woke up within an unfamiliar room with the gaze of the Gods upon them, something shifted in the air. With the Dance of Dragons postponed solely because of a promise into Lucaerys' next life, the Blacks and Greens must put their differences aside and come together for one last act—to witness the new fate of Lucaerys Velaryon.

Summary
You are out of place and out of your element. You are sent to tend to your grandmother until the changing of the guards—just until your parents arrive. Until then, you endure the ancient cold, the dead air, the suffocating stillness of Germany. There's no Wi-Fi, no television and you hardly speak the language.
But the forest whispers. The floorboards creak. And it's so dark and cold. And you are so, so, so tired. And you don't know why. You're so tired you can't explain why things go missing. Why the window opens itself at night. Why you keep seeing a towering shadow through a sleep-filled haze at night. Why you sometimes feel the mattress shift beneath your body, but you can't find enough strength to wake.
And when Kortac Forces flood the town, Oma stops letting you out. She nails your window shut and writes to your parents immediately to come. Her voice trembles when they come to the door, and she tells you not to make a sound. To hide. To be still.
But it's too late.
Because he is already watching you.
And hunting you.
And you are running out of places to hide.
