Her new friendship with an actual royal princess, who has no qualms about dragging Jyn into her schemes, comes as a surprise. Which is all fine and good, Jyn is flexible, but she could deal with less scrutiny into her relationship with a certain serious spy. Cassian and her are friends, and that's the end of that. There's no future for either of them beyond this war and they both know it. Being practical is just part of being a soldier.
