Angel didn't even have a bad day, but it sure as fuck was exhausting. When Valentino paid him a visit in his dressing room, he already knew by the crawling of his skin and twitching of his hands that his day was about to get worse.
Val's mocking voice and groping hands made Angel want to throw up, but he didn't try to fight them back. He was too fucking tired for that.

But apparently, Angel didn’t need a big gesture to feel like one of them - just a soft and easy place on somebody’s arm. He glanced up at the cameras torturing Alastor.Angel wanted someone to act like a gentleman to him.
…It wasn't like he hadn't used overlords for things he wanted before. So if Alastor could manage to overcome being a cunt for any length of time and keep dishing out the 'gentleman', Angel could really stand to have this feeling a little while. And only in exchange for being arm candy for some petty bullshit? Fuck, that was nothing.
